PRESENTED BY MARY SHEA
Class: Thursday, 11/3
Location: Sandwich Arts Alliance Center, 124 Rt. 6A, Sandwich, MA
Cost: $40 members/$45 non-members
We all love to take photos with our phones, but did you know that many camera functions in our phones come from standard photography practices in composition and exposure? Join us for this 1-day, 2-hour workshop to go from “taking to making” the shot.
Mary Shea is an art educator and artist, receiving her BS from Murray State University and her MAT from Bridgewater State University. After starting out as a graphic designer in television to working in film and video, Mary found her niche in the classroom. She has taught for over 25 years in various studio and classroom settings, teaching adults to kindergarteners in Mansfield Public Schools, Mt. Ida College, Hunakai School of Fine Arts, and presently the McGraw Ceramic Studio. Retired from Mansfield Public Schools in June 2021, Mary and her husband Mark made Sandwich their full time home in October of 2021.
“ I have never tired of the Cape’s natural beauty and as an artist it is about “seeing,” and today's phones make capturing that moment pure.”
