Have a story to tell? Have you been thinking about writing a memoir — but just can’t get your butt in the chair to get started? Can’t even imagine putting words to paper? Welcome to Memoir Boot Camp, a 6-week writing challenge at Sandwich Arts Alliance. We'll help you kickstart your memoir writing routine no matter your procrastination excuses. Look forward to in-class jots, at-home assignments, plenty of prompts, reading assignments/discussion and surprise visitors. All ages welcome!

About Donna ( as an adult) Donna Harrison has handled marketing communications for more high tech companies in the U.S. and Europe than she cares to remember. Her work has appeared in technical journals, brochures, white papers, PR assignments, advertising campaigns, trade show signage and government reports. Her not-so-scientific writing has been seen in newspapers, magazines and heard on the radio. She has an MS in Journalism from Boston University, and she continued her writing education at many Boston/Cambridge-area schools including Harvard (where she studied memoir), Northeastern, Cambridge Centre for Adult Education and the DeCordova Museum School. She has also studied with children’s writers Victoria Coe and Jane Sutton. More recently, she is Literary Coordinator and Board Member for Sandwich Arts Alliance and an extra-pair-of-hands during Sandwich’s Thornton Burgess 150 celebration. Class Registration closes 48 hours prior to the first class as a courtesy to the instructor. Some classes have limited enrollment so please register soon so you don’t miss out.
