Diving into Playwriting
PRESENTED BY: Jane Hattemer-Stringer
Come play with playwriting! (Psst--inner critics don’t hang around writers who are just playing.) I’ve led this playwriting workshop before. It’s fun, hard work, and mind-expanding. Prepare to laugh a lot. By the end, you might even have a play and/or the tools to write one on your own! To participate you will need a glass of water, a writing instrument (pen, pencil) and paper or a laptop. Before you make a list of all the reasons you can’t possibly…just say YES and sign up! Workshop limited to 6 adult participants. INSTRUCTOR: Jane Hattemer-Stringer I am Jane Hattemer-Stringer, playwright, actor, director, puppeteer, and theater teacher. Some of my plays have been produced and some are on the shelf ready to be. I have a master’s degree in theater education from Emerson College and have studied playwriting with Art Devine of Cape Repertory Theater and with Brownen Prosser of Cotuit Center for the Arts. I lead playwriting workshops online, have taught acting, acted in tons of plays (still do) and have directed quite a lot of them too (still do). Questions? Contact me at [email protected] Class Registration closes 48 hours prior to the first class as a courtesy to the instructor.
