Creating Mosaic Pots

Unleash your creativity in our upcoming two-part class where you will transform broken keepsake China and cherished trinkets into a beautiful mosaic flower pot. With all materials provided and the option to bring your own special pieces, this workshop promises to be both a delightful experience and a memorable opportunity to create something truly unique. On day 1, we will be gluing the ceramic, glass and other pieces onto the pots. On day 2, after the glue has dried, we will apply the grout, at which time they can be taken home to dry. I enjoyed learning whatever new craft I could and took classes whenever they were offered in multiple genres such as jewelry making, nature crafts, quilling, felting, and pottery. I took my first quilting class in 1980 and have enjoyed making traditional quilts. Later I was introduced to artistic quilts and have since made a variety of wall hangings using multi-media to enhance my art, even winning First Place in the People's Choice category at one quilt show. My husband and I moved to Cape Cod in 2019 just before the pandemic. We knew no one, and as a social creature, I started joining classes and volunteering at the Council of Aging. Since I have had past experience and loved crafting, I decided to teach crafts. I now have quite a following and try my best to offer new and exciting crafts. |
