Nautical Rope Wreath Workshop

Class: Sat., June 14 Time: 11:00 AM - 1:00 PM Location: SAA Classroom 130 Main Street Sandwich MA Cost: $55 members/$65 non-members Join us for this fun workshop where you will learn to make your own beautiful nautical wreath with jute rope. Learn how to braid the rope and apply it to a wooden frame. Pick from a variety of pre-made bows, add some greenery, and nautical touches with shells, starfish and other embellishments. Jute rope loop is mounted to the back of the wreath to mount it to a wall or door. You will gain the skills that you need to continue to make these lovely wreaths.
It makes a great housewarming gift or something special to add to your own home. All supplies will be provided with a $20.00 materials fee due to the instructor at class. INSTRUCTOR: Heidi Trottier
Over the past twenty years. Heidi and her husband Terry have been collecting driftwood and shells creating one of kind creations for their vacation home in Florida. Once they both retired 3 years ago, Heidi branched out and started her own business - 'By Land Oar By Sea'. You can see her product line at artisan fairs, pop up markets and online. Known for her nautical wreaths, she started teaching wreath-making classes incorporating natural fiber rope, natural seashells and driftwood.
