Finding the Writer Within invites writers of all levels and interests an opportunity to explore different writing genres in a supportive writing community. Participants are encouraged to write a short piece of fiction or poetry each week based on a prompt provided by the instructor to share with the group and receive guidance and feedback.
The course is designed in such a way that it is simple in structure yet powerful in its effect toward inspiring writers to develop a daily writing practice and developing confidence as a writer. Students can be new to writing, be established as a writer and looking for a little inspiration and community or in need of engaging in the many benefits of the creative process.
