“Drawing II” presented by Donna Rockwell
Classes: Fridays, 4/26-5/31
Time: 10:00AM-12:00PM Location: Do Well Studio, 68 Tupper Road #7, Sandwich, MA Cost: $110 member/$120 non-member This follow up to Beginner Drawing is designed for those looking to gain more experience in observational drawing, while exploring some more advanced concepts, such as perspective, anatomy and introduction of color. A basic understanding of drawing with value is helpful. Ample time will be given to develop finished drawings, as well as receive critical feedback from the instructor and classmates alike.
Class Registration closes 48 hours prior to the first class, as a courtesy to the instructor. Some classes have limited enrollment so please register soon so you don’t miss out.

Materials List:
- Newsprint pad
- Sketch pad 18” x 24”
- Vine sticks of charcoal (soft)
- General’s Charcoal pencil Set which includes various blacks and a White pencil (available online or Michaels)
- Kneaded eraser
- Drawing board and tape if desired
- Colored pencils or conte crayons (in colors other than black)

Instructor: Donna Rockwell
A graduate of Rhode Island School of Design with a degree in Illustration, Donna has worked as a designer, illustrator and fine artist for 20+ years. Teaching experience includes instruction in both computer and traditional art methods at Arlington Catholic High School and the Museum of Fine Arts in Boston. Additionally, she has provided instruction assistance at the University of Colorado in printmaking. She can be found creating art of all kinds at her Do Well Studio in Sandwich, MA.
