While I have studied art my whole life, I have been awarded no formal degrees. Growing up in my parent's art galleries on Martha's Vineyard, I thought being an artist and making art was what everyone did for work. I have studied with many talented local artists including Sandwich printmaker/ painter Sarah Ringler, Brewster sculptor Heather Blume, and Provincetown painter Jim Peters. I have been commissioned for work, had my art featured in local galleries including Wellfleet's " The Frying Pan Gallery" and have donated my art to local charities. At this point in my career, I have the confidence to know my illustration, painting or printmaking art and skills stand on their own.
