A trip to the USSR resulted in a cultural exhibit with Russian and American Artists at Symphony Hall in Boston where Jeanne’s painting was sold and returned to Russian. A highlight of her career was painting in Monet’s Garden in France.
Catherine Rand, Fine Art Photographer
1300 Old Post Road, Marston Mills ![]() Catherine Rand is a Cape Cod-based photographer known for capturing the beauty, mood, and ever-changing light of coastal landscapes. With a background in graphic design and photography, she has a keen eye for composition, blending a designer’s precision with a photographer’s intuition.
Catherine’s love for photography began in childhood—one of her fondest memories is the excitement of picking up freshly developed photos. Travel has always been a part of her life, from early years spent exploring with a camera in hand to time living in New York City and San Francisco, as well as frequent visits to London and beyond. While she dabbled in photography as a career in NYC, her focus was raising her daughter. Since moving to Cape Cod in 2019, Catherine has been passionately capturing every corner of its landscape. Inspired by the textures of nature and the interplay of light and shadow, her work has found a home in museum shops, art center galleries, and private collections. Beyond traditional prints, Catherine also creates images on aluminum and acrylic, a medium she first experimented with while living in New York. |
![]() Amanda Wastrom
For the past twenty years Amanda Wastrom has been active in the New England arts community—as an educator, a writer, an artist, a designer, and a curator—but above all, as a storyteller. Working in collaged materials, watercolors, and pen and ink, her pop-colored, illustration-style artworks patch together the diverse bits of her life as a mother, artist, gardener, and nature lover. ![]() Alfred Glover
For over four decades, Alfred Glover has lived and worked on Cape Cod, making whimsical, folk-art style sculptures in wood and salvaged aluminum. He trained at the Vesper George School of Art in Boston and under Henry Hensche in Provincetown in the 1970s. ![]() Sue Beardsley
Sue Beardsley uses found metal and repurposes it into whimsical, imaginative and often funny creatures that feel at once familiar and fanciful. She also works in other materials such as fiber and glass. ![]() Sarah J. Thornington
A passionate protector of the planet, artivist Sarah Jane Thornington can often be found cleaning the beaches of Cape Cod, her home for the past 30+ years. She creates with marine-debris and reclaimed or repurposed items, all to keep awareness on our single-use plastic problem, climate change and the dangers facing all species on this planet—including humans. Susan Bunbury, Painter and Digital Artist
16 Prestwick Road, Bourne ![]() I’m an artist who is always been passionate about creativity and expression. I’ve explored various art forms, including drawing, painting, and printmaking, and my work consistently reflects my deep love for nature and my artistic expression. Recently, I transformed my basement into a brand-new studio, which perfectly suits my creative growth and allows me to fully focus on my studio art. The studio also includes a dedicated area for digital graphic design. However, I also cherish painting outdoors, where the ever-changing light and environment inspire my work in ways that a studio can’t replicate. Through both my studio work and outdoor experiences, I continually push the boundaries of my mediums, always seeking innovative ways to connect with my audience and express the beauty I perceive in the world around me. I invite you to visit my new studio and see my art.
