​The Sandwich Boardwalk Book

The Sandwich Arts Alliance is publishing a coffee table book, The Sandwich Boardwalk, due out May, 2023, about that beloved landmark of our beach days and bridge leaps, of marsh and river, of fun and sun, and storm-swept beauty. Literary members are writing poems, history, and prose about the boardwalk over the years, Performers are composing songs, and Visual Arts members and Forestdale and Oak Ridge students are contributing artwork.

The Sandwich Boardwalk Book Plank Sale

Would you like to have a loved one permanently lauded in our book?   
Images of planks will be published throughout the book with a dedication to a loved one or someone you admire. This is a lovely and touching gift for the holidays or for an anniversary or birthday. Unlike the physical boardwalk, for which the town is considering selling engraved planks for between $300 to $500, we are selling images of planks with your dedication for inclusion in the book for $75 each.  Purchasing a dedicated plank will help fund the printing of the book - you may even purchase multiple planks! If you want to give a plank for the holidays, Jana Dillon Hamby will email you an image of the dedicated plank with a gift notice that it will be in the upcoming book that you can forward to the recipient.
