Terri Arthur is a dynamic seller of her books, better than most! Her book, Fatal Decision: Edith Cavell, WWI Nurse, has been optioned for a television series or movie, and she regularly sells at talks, fairs, and bookstores. Other people try these routes, yet sell few books, whereas Terri is tremendously successful!
Terri once said that she winced at paying a $600 fee to participate in a three-day fair at the Seaport, but success followed when she sold over $5,000 worth of books!
You will learn Terri's practical, clear-thinking, considered approach to selling her books, which has led to great success monetarily and in personal satisfaction. Bring a notebook and pen, because she will impart invaluable information, ranging from promotional materials, avoiding common mistakes during book presentations, what to bring to an event, successful marketing at fairs and other events, how to get presentations, how to enter award competitions, basic details you won’t find in a marketing book, how to turn potential customers into buyers . . . and her Secret Weapon.
Terri won the Midwest Independent Publishers Award for Historical Fiction, and she was runner up for the Midwest Independent Publishers Literary Award. She was also a finalist for the Eric Hoffer Award, an international competition.
Join us as Terri shares her accumulated experience on Saturday, October 23, at 2 p.m. on Zoom or in person at the Sandwich Arts Alliance, 124 Route 6A, Sandwich for $25. Its true worth is thousands of dollars. Light refreshments provided!
