About Kathleen Murphy
After years working as a corporate trainer, Kathleen’s life took a nomadic turn in 1997 when she accompanied her husband, a construction contracts manager, to the newly independent country of Ukraine. This began eighteen years of adventures together, including over ten years living in Former Soviet Union countries. While working on a memoir about their experiences, she has become a Director with the Cape Cod Writers Center and one of their hosts for the author interview program Books and the World. She recently had her stories about life in Kyiv published in the Cape Cod Times.
