Sandwich Public Library - Call to Artists

The Sandwich Arts Alliance has reserved a space specifically designed for Sandwich Arts Alliance artwork.  
 
SAA members are invited to register, on a first come first served basis, for a solo four week show.

​You are committed once you submit your name.

​The following criterion explains the expectations:

• There will be a “call to artists” to register every six months for the next six months. Months are assigned on a first come, first serve basis, however, if there is a conflict you may opt out of a given month when registering.
• A non-refundable payment of $50 is due when registering.
• The space where work will hang is a 18' X 4 1/2' wall. The SAA retains the right to suggest or make changes as they see fit regarding the number of pieces to be hung.
• Work will hang in the Library (one calendar month) as well as be posted on the SAA website store (at least 90 days).
• All Guidelines pertaining to the hanging of artwork are to be adhered to.  (Guidelines are found on the SAA website)
• All work submitted will be "for sale" through the Alliance and if sold will incur a 30% commission.
• Work will hang for the entire show unless it means the forfeiture of a sale
• Replacements for sold work is allowed 
• The artist will hang their own show with the assistance of a committee member (a hanging system is used).
• Work will be hung and removed in the morning (8:00 -9:00 AM) of the first Tuesday of each month. You must be present for the hanging and removal of your work.
• Two weeks prior to the show a complete and final list is required with an artist statement and the title, medium, size, jpg and price of each piece you are planning to hang.
