Class Description:
This is a chance for you to create paintings that you have always wanted to paint. You select the subject (and size) based on your personal interests, original photographs, drawings, paintings, studies, memories, and ideas. Please come to the first class prepared to share your painting plans with us, and to start your first painting. Various teaching methods and demos will be utilized as needed. |

Class Discription
In this two-hour class you will enjoy a calm and supportive atmosphere to relax and focus on the creative process of creating a collage landscape. The artist will teach the basics of compositional elements and the therapeutic and healing benefits of tearing paper with an emphasis on the student expressing their unique perspectives and their own internal landscape. |

Class Description:
For artists revisiting this beautiful colorful medium or have some experience with soft pastels. There will be a short demo. Students start with color and layering exercises. We will discuss composition, value, mood/feeling and reference photo choices. (Bring a few of your own references or use one supplied in class.) Start and hopefully finish a fall landscape. Using authentic seaglass, corks, beach sand, and coastal treasures, you'll design a whimsical seaside scene that captures the spirit of a day by the shore.
