Monica Rizzio With a perspective equally influenced by her Texas roots and her Cape Cod home, Americana singer-songwriter Monica Rizzio has emerged as one of the finest talents in the East Coast music scene. Monica released her debut album, aptly named Washashore Cowgirl, in 2016; where it was Monica’s solo introduction after a decade in the trio Tripping Lily, Sunshine is Free is her expansion -- after time spent on the road, she realized it was time for her to start collaborating again and recorded the album in Nashville with producer Michael Rinne and a stacked lineup of guest musicians. Throughout the eleven tracks on Sunshine Is Free, Monica appreciates the little things in life and looks for silver linings where necessary. It’s clear she has a keen ability to connect; her songs are often autobiographical but delivered through a fictional approach that aids in creating a universal experience for the listener -- whether it’s expressed using her trademark sense of humor or with such striking honesty that the pain in her voice is tangible.

Adam Hofmann Hofmann is a producer, performer, songwriter, bandleader, mix engineer, and entrepreneur. He studied music production at Berklee College of Music in Boston. A natural collaborator, Hoffman lives for live music. His passion is in creating, listening, writing, mixing, and experiencing the full potential of sound.
The idea for the coffeehouse series was conceived by Adam Hofmann, who resides in East Sandwich resident. Adam has been curating and securing the talent for the Alliance over the past few months and will emcee each Fourth Friday event. The Sandwich Arts Alliance has been envisioning a coffeehouse series since its founding five years ago, and Hofmann’s passion has brought it to life. |

Carly Tefft Carly Tefft, “The singer-songwriter phenomenon from Cape Cod,” as quoted by The Boston Globe, has hit the ground running. In 2019 alone, Tefft has opened for major country acts such as Justin Moore, Chase Rice, Jimmie Allen and Devin Dawson. Her single, “Better Off At A Bar” continues to rack up thousands of plays on Spotify and currently receives airplay on stations from New England to Nashville such as Country 1025, 1017 The Bull and 1033 Nash FM. Now living in Nashville, Tefft has been invited to perform at prestigious venues such as The Bluebird Cafe, Whiskey Jam and The Listening Room. The 2015 Berklee College of Music grad combines a love of rock, country and pop that defies being narrowed to just one music genre; Take the grit of Michelle Branch and Sheryl Crow, the country crossover sound and guitar licks of Keith Urban, and the soul of Old Dominion to create what she calls “red headed rock and roll.” Tefft's latest release, "Traded" packs a powerful punch that has received rave reviews. If her honest lyrics, full voice and rhythmic guitar skills don't grab your attention, her red hair just might.
